Mr. Hickey, Chairman of the Management Committee for Chicago AIP, is also the CEO of Winnemac Consulting, LLC. He is active in all aspects of early stage companies and the development, licensing and management of intellectual property. His consulting experience includes valuation, corporate governance, strategic consulting for start-up companies, international trade economics, and product development, claims, and underwriting support for insurance companies. Before Winnemac, he was the founder of Chicago Partners, LLC and served as its president for twelve years. He also founded and managed an intellectual property licensing and development company.

He is Vice Chairman of the Board of American Epay, Inc., which provides integrated time and attendance, payroll management and payment solutions to labor intensive companies. He also serves on the board of Leveler, LLC, an electrical power protection and purification company.

Previously, he was a political appointee at the U.S. International Trade Commission where he provided economic and financial analyses, and he was a marketing manager in the computer industry. He was the non-executive Chairman of the Board of the American Ecology Corporation, which provides radioactive, hazardous and municipal solid waste management services to commercial and government entities. He chaired the compensation and nominating committees, and served on the audit committee.

He has an AB from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
